Welcome to the Center for the Arts
The Lea County Commission for the Arts, located at the Center for the Arts in downtown Hobbs, is a growing, non-profit, member supported, organization that exists to provide you with information about visual, performing, music, and the literary arts in Lea County, New Mexico.
Center for the Arts to be renovated:
The Lea County Commission for the Arts (LCCA) is in the final stages of completing plans for renovation of the Center for the Arts, located at 122 W Broadway in downtown Hobbs. Planning for this project has been in progress for over two years and construction is close at hand. NPSR Architects of Hobbs has completed the architectural plans. The J. F Maddox Foundation has committed $500,000 for this project. LCCA is raising $40,000 in matching funds. Please click here for further information on the renovation.
