Classes/Workshops
The following classes will resume upon completion of the Center for the Arts Renovation.
Lea County Commission for the Arts offers a variety of classes, which are scheduled upon sufficient registrations. Registration fees for the classes vary and the Center for the Arts staff will supply specific information upon request. Space may not be reserved prior to payment. Full payment must accompany registration.
Jewelry classes may be scheduled upon request. Anyone interested in jewelry classes should call the Center for the Arts, 397-2787, and leave their contact information.
Open Studio Fridays, 1:30 to 4:00, an opportunity for participants to sketch, draw, or paint on their own and associate and share knowledge with fellow artists. Classroom space is provided and artists are to bring their own supplies. Easels will be provided. Fee varies according to class plan. Minimum $5 fee.
Yoga with instructor Neena Wagnon is scheduled on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Center for the Arts. Participants are to bring a mat or a blanket and wear loose-fitting clothes. Fee is $10 per class.
