April 2011 Exhibit
The April gallery exhibit features the annual Lea County High School Art Show sponsored by the Llano Estacado Art Association. The exhibit includes art from Lea County high schools in Eunice and Hobbs. The first place award went to Juan Rivera, Hobbs High, for Loud Mouth, mixed media, second place went to Alfonso Rangel, Hobbs High, for How Music Makes me Feel, Gouche, graphite and ink, and third place was awarded to Julian Flores, Hobbs High, for Pre-Race Prayer, Gouche. The show will be on exhibit through April 23 at the Center for the Arts. Hours are 11-5 Tuesday through Friday and 10-6 Saturday.
