January 2011 Exhibit
An exhibit of counted thread embroidery features 90 works from a group of 15 "Sit and Stitch" ladies who have been meeting for 17 years under the tutelage of Belinda Battaglini. The needlework is done on a blank fabric and needlework artists transfer printed patterns to the canvas one stitch at a time. Exhibitors include Battaglini, Judy Stone, Julie Botts, Barbara Bistram, Nancy Nix, Susan Jordan, Susan Brandon, Bobbie Jamieson, Sara Bell, Patty Frizzell, Mary Pat Miles, Debra Boggs, Diane Roper, Lisa Cleveland and Donna Parras. The exhibit shows the realm of what one can do with a needle.
