January 2009 Exhibit
Scrapbooking was the exhibit for January at the Center for the Arts. A large number of scrapbooks personally designed and created by local residents were displayed for viewing. A demonstration explaining the uses of the Cricut electronic cutting machine was presented. The Cricut is a way to cut letters, shapes, and phrases for classroom decor, scrapbook layouts, signage, and more. Cricut can create designs and alphabets for card making, scrapbooking, and paper crafting.
Scrapbookers exhibiting their books were Sharon Shaw, Kathy Johnson, Sherry Bostick, Sharon Clark, and Becky Cousins.
