May / June 2011 Exhibit
The May Gallery Exhibit features artwork inspired from music played by the Southwest Symphony during it's 2010/2011 concert season. The exhibit includes artwork from Hobbs Muicipal Schools and local adult artists. Awards were presented as follows:
Elementary Category; first place, Miziah Villegas, Broadmoor Elementary, second place, Trevor Shaner, Broadmoor Elementary, Secondary Category, first place, Mayra Aldaz, Hobbs High School, second Place, Beatriz Limas, Eunice High School, Adult Category, first place, Tyson Ledgerwood, second place, Nancy Powell. The show will be on exhibit through May 28 at the Center for the Arts. Hours are 11-5 Tuesday through Friday and 10-6 Saturday.
