May 2009 Exhibit
Hobbs Municipal Schools Elementary Art Exhibit was held at the Center for the Arts and opened May 2 with a reception for 255 students and their parents. Prizewinners, first-place, second-place and the peoples choice award, from each grade of the district’s 12 elementary schools were on exhibit and included drawings, paintings, collages, piñatas, sculptures, and other types of artwork. Stone Elementary received a trophy for the best overall artwork display.
