Art Camp Students
Artists of the Month for July

One project of the Summer Art Camps was to have each artist represented on a 5' by 10' mural.  The Exploring Art Camp (ages 6 and 7) made their penquins with potatoes, paint and markers.  The Clay Camp drew a rectangle and used markers to draw their art of choice.  Each student in the 3-Dimensional and Collage Camp is represented by a torn paper collage figure of themself.  Tiny pieces of torn paper were glued into the shape of the human figure, glued onto the mural and signed by the student.  The Lovington Painting campers each signed their name and the Hobbs Painting campers drew, painted and cut out a flower with their name in the center and glued it to the mural.  The mural will hang in the display window of the Center for the Arts through the month of July.
