John Lathrop
Artist of the Month for December 2010 & January 2011
John Lathrop is the Llano Estacado Art Association's Artist of the month for December and January. John, ceramics instructor at New Mexico Junior College for many years, is a clay artist who has developed his skills on the potter's wheel and creates carved geometric designs in his pottery. His work includes vases, cups and casserole dishes. Work on display can be viewed in the east window of the Center for the Arts and his work will be included in the Llano Estacado Art Association's Christmas Gallery sale through the month of December.
