Carol Hammond, Director

After retiring from the business world in 2007, Carol became the first director of the Center for the Arts in July 2008. Her background in visual arts provided experience in promoting and organizing art shows, workshops, and her business background provided experience in administration. She is a member of the Llano Estacado Art Association and the West Texas Watercolor Society and continues to work in watercolor, fiber, and mixed media collage.

Administrative Assistant

Kimberly Vigil welcomes visitors to the Center for the Arts and answers your questions about what there is to do in Hobbs. She handles registrations for youth and adult classes, ticket sales for local events, Gift Shoppe sales and keeps our building in tip-top shape. Kimberly is a photographer and records the activities at the Center for the Arts. Her vivacious personality will make your visits a pleasant experience.
